Animal health and welfare review

The first step on the animal health and welfare pathway is now open!

This is a funded annual visit from your chosen team of vets. It can be undertaken when it suits you. The vet will provide you with bespoke advice and some diagnostic testing for specific diseases.

The review includes:

  • vet advice on health and welfare of the livestock
  • a written report prepared by the vet with agreed recommendations and actions
  • testing to specified standards for BVD in cattle and effectiveness of worming treatments in sheep
