24 Hour Care
South Moor Vets is proud to provide its own 24 hour emergency cover. Once our clinics are closed, you can still contact us to receive emergency care for your animals. We’re dedicated to the needs of your animals 24 hours a day, and we think this makes us different to many other practices out there.
We have 3 vets and 2 nurses (1 at the Kingsbridge surgery and 1 at the Ivybridge surgery) on duty every single night to ensure any animals that need to be hospitalised can continue to be cared for outside of normal working hours.
We are responsible for all our own out-of-hours communication and care, and are available for emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The on-site nurses monitor in-patients, and provide round-the-clock pain relief and medication when necessary, as well as assisting the vets with any surgery or procedures performed.
