RVN position available

Independent practice seeking a RVN in the beautiful South West.

We currently have two full time positions available with our Ivybridge and Kingsbridge teams.

Gross salary per year dependant on experience.

Package:

28 days holiday including Bank Holidays (or lieu time if worked). CPD encouraged and RCVS membership paid.

General day shifts:

Day shifts are a mixture of 8-5 operating, 9-6 operating, nurse consults, inpatient care and general duties. We aim to produce a fair rota for the entire nursing team. Lunch is a 1-hour unpaid break. Shifts are 8 working hours.

OOH:

We proudly offer our own OOH service. This ensures a continuity of care for our inpatients and involves pragmatic triage of emergency calls overnight. There are always 2 nurses and 4 vets on call every night across 2 branches in order to provide help and advice. OOH shifts are both paid for and time off post shift.

The Practice:

South Moor vets consist of 3 branches.  We are looking for 2 full time RVNs, one for Kingsbridge and one for Ivybridge. Kingsbridge contains multiple consult rooms, operating theatre, DR x-ray, ultrasound and in house lab. Ivybridge has all of the above including CT scanner, dental x-ray, endoscope and is also the base for our orthopaedic surgery.

We feel we offer a great environment to work in with plenty of support.  Many of our vets are certificate holders meaning we refer very little so most cases are treated in house.
