Freya joined South Moor in 2015 having moved up country from a mixed practice in Cornwall. She has remained a mixed vet as she enjoys treating small and large animals alike. She has a special interest in sheep and keeps a small flock of Dorset-cross Lleyns as well as Gotlands. It’s a running joke in the practice that if a dog has swallowed something it shouldn’t have, it will always happen on her weekend on call, so exploratory laparotomies have become one of her strengths. Outside of work in the summer you will see her paddleboarding with keen crew-member, Jess the Collie. In winter you will see her up on Dartmoor helping with Ten Tors.
